(SMYRNA, Ga.) - Cumberland Diamond Exchange, a family owned & operated fine jewelry store since 1982 is proud to announce that it has been named one of Cobb County’s (GA) Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Businesses were nominated earlier this year, and after a review by an independent panel of judges, Cumberland Diamond Exchange was selected as one of the Top 25 companies. Candidates were evaluated based on the criteria published by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Those criteria include staying power, growth in number of employees, increase in sales or unit volume, current and past financial standing, innovative products and services, response to adversity, evidence of contributions to aid community projects and overall management philosophy.
Cumberland Diamond Exchange is a first generation, fine jeweler specializing in loose diamonds and engagement rings. The Top 25 were recognized at the Cobb Chamber’s First Monday Breakfast on June 3.
