Cassy Ferrell shared the following: "I have known Rhonda and Mark for many years and think a lot of them. I decided after many years of keeping a ring that I wasn’t getting any use out of, as it was only collecting dust, to go visit them at CDE and get their advice on what I could do with it. They recommended that I work with Amy to consider a redesign of the ring. I thought about it for several weeks and decided 'Why Not'? I contacted Amy and we discussed several options. A possible pendant, ring or earrings. I opted for a ring. Amy made several beautiful suggestions and sent several designs to me, but I just wasn’t feeling those. We talked again and we came up with something that I thought I could be happy with. A few weeks passed and I was anxiously waiting to see the beautiful creation from CDE. I met Amy on a Saturday morning to see the “new” ring for the first time. Amy, Mark, Prentice, and Todd were all hovering over waiting to see what I thought of this ring. When Amy opened the ring box and I saw the ring for the first time my mouth dropped and my eyes filled with tears. The tears were of absolute joy!! I could not believe, let alone express any words at how gorgeous this ring was. Yes, I was speechless, which is unusual for me. It was absolutely breathtaking!"
Amy said, "Custom jobs have become one of the most rewarding yet challenging aspects of my job. To take something old and turn it into something new and exciting makes me just as happy for the client as they are to have a new, re-vamped piece of jewelry. If you have pieces or loose stones that aren't being used, what better way to make the most of what you have than to create a whole new design! I am absolutely thrilled with Cassy’s ring! All I knew for sure when we started this process is that I thought an east-west design concept would be the way to go. After the first two renderings came back and weren’t even close to what I was thinking, I thought 'I don’t even want to show these to her because it’s going to scare her away from the custom process but I don’t want her to think I’m not trying!' Luckily the third time was the charm and here we are a few weeks later with a very happy Cassy and one of my favorite designs. This is why I love my job!"
Cassy added, "I could not be more excited about my beautiful ring!! Amy was absolutely wonderful to work with and very talented. I cannot thank her, Mark, Rhonda, Prentice, and Todd for all they did during the process to take what was an ending for me and turn it into a new beginning!!"
