Meghan married Nick Pyecha on August 15th, 2020. The pandemic altered their wedding plans but it couldn't stop this beautiful couple from getting married in an intimate, backyard ceremony surrounded by family.
The beautiful bride shared the following with us:
"Our intended wedding date was May 16th but we had to postpone our wedding date due to COVID-19. We were hopeful, like many, that the summer would allow us to celebrate our impending nuptials and pivoted our celebration to August 15th, 2020. As we inched closer to the date we decided we could not celebrate safely with all our loved ones far and wide as we were hosting a larger event. Nick and I decided to postpone (again) our group celebration with friends and family to 2021. In the interim, our immediate families collaborated together to host a backyard ceremony with a surprise drive by from our closest friends. The evening was not what we planned but absolutely magical and intimate. We are so grateful for our family, friends, and Melissa at Cumberland Diamond for being flexible and working with us to fulfill our wedding dreams.
As soon as Nick and I started talking about getting married, I immediately went to Cumberland Diamond for guidance. Melissa was so kind and helpful as she navigated all the different styles and selections. I was never the type of girl who had a 'dream ring' and Melissa helped me find the perfect styles that showed off my personality and style. Nick nailed it on the head when he went shopping for my engagement ring and took to Melissa’s guidance as well (wink wink). We knew that for our wedding bands we would have to go back to CDE. Due to COVID-19 we were forced to postpone our wedding and our band shopping. When we pivoted our dates to August, we were in a race to buy our bands. Melissa and the team at CDE were so helpful with selections and fast turn times so we could have these in time for our backyard celebrations. I was even able to personalize Nicks band and resize mine within days. We are forever grateful for Melissa and the team at CDE, they will forever be our go to jewelry store."
